APP was a British rock band active between 1975 and 1990, whose core membership consisted of producer, audio engineer, musician and composer Alan Parsons and singer, songwriter and pianist Eric Woolfson.
Written by band leaders Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. The song was a moderate success and charted at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 1977, Lenny Zakatek became a studio vocalist for The Alan Parsons Project.
He was featured on eight albums, including the hits "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You" & "Games People Play".
Bassist David Paton was the lead singer for the band Pilot which released the hit song “Magic” (I covered this one as well on the channel).
Ian Bairnson on guitar was also in Pilot.
Alan Parsons produced their material.
APP released eleven studio albums in its 15-year career, the most successful being I Robot (1977)
Parsons acted as Assistant Engineer on the Beatles' albums Abbey Road (1969) and Let It Be (1970), engineered Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
