VINCENT CROWLEY is a Macabre Horror Metal band formed by Vincent Crowley and Art Taylor of the Black Death Metal band ACHERON. The band would become a unique blend of Doom, Death, Black, and traditional Heavy Metal Music infused with dark lyrics and tales of terror. After their debut album, BEYOND ACHERON, they put out their 2024 release, ANTHOLOGY OF HORROR, on HAMMERHEART RECORDS.

Vocalist Vincent Crowley credits Danish Metal icon King Diamond for inspiring him to do this project under his name, just like the King did after leaving MERCYFUL FATE. Crowley states, "From my early days of high school until this day, King Diamond has been a big influence on me as an artist, musician, and a person. His authenticity, creativity, persona, and how he treats his fans is a true inspiration." Even VINCENT CROWLEY guitarists Art Taylor and Eric Stewart used to play in a KING DIAMOND/MERCYFUL FATE tribute band called THEM, back in the early days. So, the admiration of the King runs deep in this band.

Crowley adds, "No one can outdo the King, in my opinion. He is the best out there. Having many of the same interests as myself, his career has been a proper mentorship to me throughout my life. Even though we play in different music genres and have opposite vocal styles, the path still leads to metal music. At one time, my other band, ACHERON, was featured on a MERCYFUL FATE tribute album, and we recorded "Room of Golden Air" because I refused to blaspheme the King's vocals. Now, I want to pay homage to him in my style, not trying to duplicate what he did because that just can't be done. Sometimes, you have to give the Devil his dues."
