The Ferguson vs. Cerrone Finish

The Lightweight matchup between Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone may not have been the main event of UFC 238, but it received plenty of attention during fight week. The winner of the bout would firmly place themselves in title fight talks, so that made the abrupt finish to this fight frustrating for some. Ferguson accidentally landed a punch on Cerrone after the bell in round two causing Cerrone to feel discomfort. Cerrone would blow his nose and it would create swelling in his eye and the fight would be stopped. Although Ferguson hit Cerrone late it was determined that the blow wasn't the ultimate factor and the accumulation of damage Cerrone received in the fight created the fight-ending injury. #tonyferguson #donaldcerrone #shorts #ufc
