The Bas[s]ment invites: Michel (abstract)

DJ Michel Remelink (a.k.a. Michel Abstract), started his career in 1993 at the Spanish club Pacha and with his weekly radio show at System FM, where famous names like 100% Isis, Marcello and Cellie came to perform on the air.

In the years that followed many performances at Club Time, Catacomb Studios, Waakbaarheid and the Looseclub. There he played together with Jerome, Steve Rachmad, Cellie, Shinedoe, Estroe, Carlijn, Erick E, Marcello, Isis, Per, Surgeon, Jay Denham, Space DJ'z, Thomas Krome and Rino Cerrone.

In 1999 Michel started the foundation and Techno organization Abstract with friends. The collective organized both large parties and underground parties in the Lichtfabriek and started with a weekly club/techno evening Solid and in 2002 Format.

In 2006, Michel and DJ Ken organized the monthly party Testlab, where both national and international DJs came to play.

In addition to his favorite preference for Techno, Michel plays Clubhouse, Techhouse, Minimal and House Classics just as easily.
