Swedish and U.S. Marines rapidly deploy HIMARS to Swedish Islands

Swedish Amphibious Corps and United States Marines Corp Marines conduct a joint rapid amphibious deployment of HIMARS to defend Swedish islands, Baltic Sea. The deployment exercise, part of the large scale BALTOPS 2024 set of exercises is part of a co-ordinated NATO response to Russian aggresion in Ukraine and in particular, Russian past comments on the strategic value of Gotland Island, control the Island, you control the Baltic Sea.

The video begins with the U.S. Marines preparing for the amphibious deployment and follows their progress as they land on the island of Utö located in the South Western part of the Stockholm archipelago.
