Gautam Adani was once denied admission to this college, but recently, the same college invited him to deliver a lecture.

At the age of 16, Gautam Adani moved from Gujarat to Mumbai.

Here, he started working as a diamond sorter for Mahindra Brothers.

But before this, he had applied for admission to Mumbai’s Jai Hind College.

His elder brother, Vinod Adani, had also studied at this college.

However, Gautam Adani’s application was rejected by the college.

After this, he worked in Mumbai for two years and then returned to Gujarat.

There, he started working in his brother Mansukhlal Adani’s plastic factory.

In 1988, Gautam Adani launched his own import and export business.

The economic policies of 1991 greatly benefited his business.

In the following years, he expanded his business 100 times, and today, he is known as the "Port King" of India.

Recently, he gave a lecture at Jai Hind College, where he shared this incredible journey of his life.
