Inspired by Stanisław Lem's novel Solaris, ‘Back to the Ocean’ is a haunting lament about an obsessive protagonist chasing his ghosts. This is a tale of grief, trauma, and desperation.

‘Back to the Ocean’ is Paranoia Church’s 5th single and features the American multi-instrumentalist Samtar on vocals, the Australian Kelly O'Donohue on trumpets and trombones, and the Italian Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator, Bonfire, Rhapsody) on drums.

Paranoia Church is a Brazilian Horror Metal project, made in Canada, led by guitarist Bruno Rios. Known for his work with the band Walking Back to Hell, Bruno hails from Fortaleza, Brazil, where he was active in the underground scene since 1998. With Walking Back to Hell, he released an EP in 2007 and shared the stage with acts such as Power Metal legends Angra, and the Brazilian rockers Velhas Virgens.

Paranoia Church is currently working on its next single, ‘V is for Vulture’, with plans to release a full-length album in 2025.
