ISRO’s 100th Mission: GSLV-F15 Successfully Launches NVS-02 Navigation Satellite

ISRO successfully launched its 100th mission with the GSLV-F15 rocket, placing the NVS-02 navigation satellite into orbit. This marks ISRO’s first launch under Chairman V. Narayanan and its maiden mission of 2025. The 2,250 kg satellite enhances the NavIC constellation, aiding navigation, precision agriculture, and IoT applications. It features an indigenous Rubidium Atomic Clock, reinforcing India’s self-reliance in space technology. ISRO has now launched 548 satellites, including major missions like Chandrayaan and Aditya-L1. Future missions include NISAR with NASA and Gaganyaan. Narayanan credited ISRO’s success to past leaders, government support, and India's space sector reforms.
