eye in the sky — the alan parsons project

while this is no where near a perfect cover, i recently stumbled upon this from March 16th, 2020. not only was it a mere 5 days into the official beginning of the pandemic that changed everyone’s lives in so many ways, but it was also probably a month or so before i decided to move away from home for the first time in my life. while the move was certainly rooted in experiencing my first real heartbreak and needing to separate myself from the place where everything took place, it also was a change i dreamt of making for years and years. its strange to hear myself on the precipice of such a huge chapter of my life, one that would alter me in ways i never would’ve imagined. here’s to that version of me, to the current version of me, and whatever me is yet to come.
