Def Leppard classic riff from the Pyromania record! Hey Dad play old school Def Leppard

When you start a garage band with your friends you try and bring something "cool" to a riff that you're writing. I'm been in hundreds of bands. Mostly with my friends Bill and Mike. Whenever Bill and I would work on a riff we would "borrow-steal" (lol) riffs from other bands that no one would notice. I was hooked on a little band in high school by the name of "Queensryche". Bill had a band up his sleeve called "Fates Warning". All we did was use these "inverted" chords and the riff would be elevated up two more levels of cool:) Unbeknownst to Bill and I, Def Leppard was already doing this stuff. Here's a great example of those "cool" inverted chords that just sound wicked. Thanks for reading and check it out:)
