Arjun Erigaisi, the India Chess Grandmaster, has created history by going past the prestigious 2800 ELO points in the FIDE live ratings after winning his match in the European Chess Club Cup 2024. Arjun Erigaisi has become the 2nd Indian Chess Grandmaster after Viswanathan Anand to go past 2800 ELO points. However, for Arjun to maintain the 2800 ELO in the official published rankings, he has to win the next two games to ensure he maintains the 2800 ELO rating.
