Banana Choc Chip Cookies
Ingredients
▢1/3 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
▢1/2 cup granulated sugar
▢1 large eggs at room temperature
▢1/2 cup ripe banana about 1 banana
▢1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
▢1 teaspoon baking powder
▢1/4 teaspoon salt
▢1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and granulated sugar until well combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Beat in the egg mashed banana and vanilla extract until combined
.Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda and gradually add to the creamed mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake 10-14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
Cookie Donuts
▢½ cup white sugar
▢¼ cup brown sugar
▢1 egg large
▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢115 g butter unsalted, melted
▢1 cup all-purpose flour
▢¼ teaspoon baking powder
▢½ cup chocolate chips
Ganache Glaze
▢1 cup dark chocolate or milk, or white chocolate
▢¾ cup heavy cream
Garnish
▢1 tablespoon white chocolate melted
Instructions
Cookie Donuts
Grease two regular donut pans. Preheat your oven to 356°F (180°C).
In a large bowl, combine white sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Use a hand mixer to blend until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
Place a mesh strainer over the bowl containing the wet ingredients. Add the all-purpose flour and baking powder to the strainer. Sift these dry ingredients directly into the wet mixture.
Gently mix the ingredients with a silicone spatula until the flour is fully incorporated and no dry spots remain.
The batter will be runnier than typical cookie dough—this is normal for this recipe. Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe it into the greased donut pan, filling each donut cavity about ¾ full.
Place the donut pans in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the donuts are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
After baking, place the pans on a wire rack and let the cookie donuts cool completely before removing them from the pans
.Chocolate Ganache Glaze
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate and cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Pour the ganache into a shallow bowl for easy dipping.
Hold each cookie donut upside down and dip the top into the chocolate ganache. Allow any excess glaze to drip off, then place the glazed donuts on a wire rack to let the glaze set

Melt the white chocolate and use a fork or piping bag to drizzle it over the glazed donuts for an attractive finish.
