Director’s note: This video was filmed on one of the last days of 2024. Ten days later, almost all of my city of Altadena had burned to the ground. This entire video was edited under evacuation order, adding an unforeseen resonance to some of its themes and imagery. I dedicate it to the soul & rebirth of my beautiful Altadena and greater Los Angeles.
