‘Classic kiss-the-ring moment’: Meta reverses social media fact-checking

Broadcaster Lucy Zelic reacts to Mark Zuckerberg announcing Meta’s decision to end fact-checking on the company’s social media platforms in the United States.

“This is a very classic kiss-the-ring moment,” Ms Zelic told Sky News host Caroline Marcus.

“They’ve all recognised that President-elect Trump is coming back into power and that it’s time to recognise that this is no longer the thing to do.”
